The migration assistant is an extension which you can check in to ePO to migrate your legacy product policies to ENS policies.

You can find all information in the following guide. It explains in detail where your legacy policies are migrated to and how you can check it in and use the assistant:

The upgrade assistant is also an extension which you can check into your ePO. It analyses the endpoints in your ePO environment, detects the supported McAfee products that are installed, and determines the minimum requirements for upgrading to current versions of the products. With this information, you can plan and implement product upgrades efficiently throughout your environment. We have a great video tutorial in this KB article:
