trustedsourceserver_imqa01

We are seeing tons of requests coming from endpoints and then going through our BlueCoat proxy server to "trustedsourceserver_imqa01". It's also adding DNS suffix on each request, thus causing slowness.

Have you seen it?

Re: trustedsourceserver_imqa01

Hi @Sohel

See related community post: https://community.mcafee.com/t5/SiteAdvisor-Enterprise-SAE/TrustedSourceServer-IMQA01/td-p/357736

What you are likely seeing is not requests to trustedsourceserver_imqa01 but rather requests to the Web Control TrustedSource GTI server, whose certificate is signed with the common name you're seeing there.

Thank you,

Thank you,
Mitchell Buehler

see attached screenshot .... I don't think these are certificates related issues.

Re: trustedsourceserver_imqa01

Hi @Sohel,

May we know if you have SSL inspection in place? The slowness could possibly be due to Bluecoat trying to perform the same. Please note that this may not be supported and we use Self signed certs here.

I have looked into the Service Request you have created for this as well. May I please request you to kindly exclude our GTI lookup URLs from your proxy and check if the issue still comes up?

Re: trustedsourceserver_imqa01

Hello AdithyanT,

Which McAfee GTI (URLs/or IPs) we need to bypass in Bluecoat proxy?

Is there any KBs that I could follow to exclude the McAfee GTI addresses from the proxy server.

Thanks

Sohel

Re: trustedsourceserver_imqa01

How about the KB84374? I can't seem to find this KB, any idea?

Also, do we need to configure below?

Re: trustedsourceserver_imqa01

Hi @Sohel,

Apologies for that missing KBA. It has been pulled down owing to reviewing of the KB. I am fairly confident that KBA would not be helpful for this particular issue.

Excluding https://tie.gti.mcafee.com should take care of this one specifically! I sincerely hope this one helps!
