mfetpcli ods scan results

Recently installed MFETP and have been using the cli to create and run an On-Demand Scan.  The issue I am running into is, I want to run the scan and then check to see what the results were, but it seems like the only way to get results is to either check a running mfetpd.log, or unzip a zip archive and check the produced report.

Is there no way to do this in an easier way? The goal here is to script running the scan and checking the results with python.  Ideas?

Hi @Gark,

Thank you for your post. I am afraid this may have to be put up as a product idea as we do not have this feature at the moment.

Also, I would recommend posting this topic here for better help and possible work arounds used by our Members and experts:

I sincerely hope this helps.

Re: mfetpcli ods scan results

Thanks, I will post there.  Another question though to build off of this.

There is a way to return the list of quarantined files with the --quarantinelist command.  Where is this data being stored? I haven't been able to find it.

Hi @Gark,

TBH, I am not an ENSL expert here, however, May I know if the modified command provided in the below KBA helps?

Extract a quarantined file for submission to McAfee Labs
