Dear guys,
Actually after several turnings on and off I found that Threat Prevention On-Access Scan stops file copy from the network. We have got a network software which wants to copy a file of 200 megabytes to every client but it stops after 30% progress. When I disable On-Access scan the file copy process finishes successfully. I would be appreciated if you kindly let me hear your ideas?
Hi @Former Member
What file type is being copied?
Do you have scan network files enabled with your OAS policy? If yes, you may want to disable this.
Hi @Former Member,
Thank you for your post! Adding to what @Former Member has advised, Stopping scans midway is a strange behavior. Is it one file or a bunch of files you are dealing with?
May I know what Network software is being used?
Also, can you please let us know if you have any detections in your OnAccessScanActivity log?
Log location: %programdata%\McAfee\Endpoint Security\logs\
I sincerely hope we get some answers form this log!
