install enstpl (linux) standalone

Jump to solution

Hi all,

is there any guide/kb for installing mcafee enstp on standalone linux server, because there some reason our linux server is very limited / tight environment so the linux team doesnt want any connection (push deploy for epo) to their server, they only want : "give us the agent installer, then enstpl standlone installer"

but when i give it to them they said they dont find the ./install-mfetp.sh (they using kb https://docs.mcafee.com/bundle/endpoint-security--v10-7-0-installation-guide-linux/page/GUID-8C47110...

if they already have the agent installed do they still need to install the ens platform or just straight to enstpl module ?

is there something we missed ?

thanks

Hello @Dwee

Thanks for your response.

I would like to request you to please refer the belo KB article:

https://kc.mcafee.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=KB88299

They can start with the module, Once installation is done it will start reporting to your ePO if the agent is in managed mode.
