I also can't see this signature in ePO, and have read https://www.mcafee.com/enterprise/en-us/assets/release-notes/exploit-prevention/mep-03-31-2020.pdf
I am using ePO Update 6 (220.127.116.111) so the update seven issue is not responsible for this problem.
I can see the rule in the ENS console on my endpoints, so I know I am deploying 10050.
What can I try to update the content version in ePO?
Thanks for reporting this issue. This is weird. Can you open up a Service Request for investigation? And just to be sure, we have options to filter views of Exploit prevention rules based on categories. hence I would recommend you to verify if all of the filter options are checked to confirm that you are missing this rule in the ePO Policy.
Also, Can you let me know if this is the case from the endpoint's end as well?
OK, I will open a case, I was trying to avoid opening a second case in one day.
I can see the rule on the end-point.
I have all the options ticked, apart from Network IPS which is greyed-out. Is this the problem?
Signature 6157 is a Network IPS signature, so the "Enable Network Intrusion Prevention" feature must be enabled, along with "Network IPS" filter under Signatures.
