agent 5.7.6 amcore daily update fail

Hi folks,
scenario : agent 5.7.6 AMCORE daily update task fail with " error during download of C:\ProgramData\McAfee\Agent\\Current\AMCORDAT2000\DAT\0000\PkgCatalog.z."
if I modify the Endpoint Security Common policy unchecking self protection the task terminate with success and amcore is up to date ...any idea ?

I suggest you to uninstall this injector and check if the update goes smooth. 

We strongly suggest you to open an SR with us and you can refer to this post so that we have this added to our trusted list.

Hi @gri16 

Thanks for posting to our community. 

This most likely be due to 3rd party injection that prevents this. 

Can you check the below KB and see if you can check any injectors by using SysPrep tool?

I uninstalled Universal Middleware for incard 1.3.5.0 (bit4upki-store.dll) and the daily update task terminate correctly, but the app is referring smart card reader and we need to use it ,so I have open a SR.
