So we have EPO 5.10 and ENS 10.7 deployed onto Windows Server 2016 and when logged in even as an Administrator, if we right click the optical drive and tell it to Scan it - the scan appears to start and then quickly fails with a message "Scan Completed" 0 files scanned. The logs aren't leading us to an obvious conclusion and if we go to a Windows 10 Desktop serviced by the same EPO server with much the same configuration it will successfully scan.
Sometimes after a reboot, we are able to scan media successfully on the Windows 2016 servers. We are at a loss and this is impacting our process. VSE 8.8 was working fine.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Any help is appreciated as we have multiple Application Server running Windows 2016 patched to January that fail to scan any optical media. The servers see and can access the media but a right-click scan completes after a few seconds with 0 files scanned. It doesn't matter if we right click the whole optical drive or individual files or folders. We can scan local hard drives just fine.
