Web Control has stopped working

Google Chrome

Version 50.0.2661.75 m (64-bit)

Every time I open the Google Chrome, which defaults to https://www.google.com, I get a pop up window stating "Web Control has stopped working."

After I close the window, everything works fine, but the pop up is annoying.

I could be mistaken..however I feel that your issue is not due to McAfee Web Advisor? Are you running the (Consumer) Product, or (Corporate) Product?

Today I received a new pop up (not sure if it is related):

MFEConsole.exe - System Error
"The program can't start because MSVCP100.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."

However, I can see the msvcp100.dll in the "C:\Windows\System32\" folder.

If it matters...

msvcp100.dll = 6/11/2011 @ 1:15 AM w/ size = 594KB
