Violating rule "Protect McAfee core registry keys and values" was blocked

Why Analyzer detection method "Self protection" blocking IE? This violation triggers every day and almoust in every computer. What is the best way to handle with it. I don't want to ignore this block. Is there any opportunity to do a exclusion for this rule? Under AP there isn't such a rule. Description: IEXPLORE.EXE, which tried to access HKCU\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\CURRENTVERSION\EXT\SETTINGS\{7DB2D5A0-7241-4E79-B68D-6309F01C5231}\, violating the rule "Threat Prevention - Protect McAfee core registry keys and values", and was blocked.

@User21305459 The rule is functioning as designed in order to protect iexplore.exe from access and modification to McAfee keys as a part of self-protection. This is not a configurable rule due to the nature of its purpose (self-protection). It is understandable however that you would prefer to not see/receive these events as this is occurring in volume. It is likely that you will see these events stop if ScriptScan functionality is disabled as it could potentially stop this interaction from occurring. 

This is currently a point of review for potential modification of the reporting on this rule as a whole. If you would like to add your voice to the conversation and strive towards progress on this change, then I would advise that you open a Service Request with Support and ask the technician reference Research Task item 1238348.
