Use Endpoint Security Threat Prevention to delete files by extension
I'd like to use Endpoint Security Threat Prevention to delete files having a particular extension, say .XYZ. It appears I can't use wildcards in the Potentially Unwanted Program Detections name field as I tried to put *.XYZ there but it does not accept it.
I also looked at using Access Protection rules but there doesn't appear to be a way to delete files, only block or report on activity.
Is there a way to use Endpoint Security Threat Prevention to delete all files having an extension of .XYZ that it comes across?
