Upgrading ENS 10.5.3 to 10.5.4

Hi, 

Anybody done upgrading their ENS version to the lates 10.5.4? any issue worth noting?. I am planning to upgrade my ENS 10.5.3 version to 10.5.4

Seems to have fixed a number of issues I have with 10.5.3.  Still checking out the deployments.

We have already upgraded most of our systems from 10.5.3. Have not seen any issues yet? The main reason why we have upgraded is so as to support Windows 10 Spring Creators Update.

Great glad to know no issues yet. Can you kindly share to me, if possible your steps in upgrading?

I'm creating a document for this upgrade to be presented to my supervisor, I just want to know if I am missing/exceeding some steps. I'm finding my steps to be simple

My Steps:

1. Check-in the package in ePO

2. Create a client task for deployment

3. wake up agents

Step 0.  Check in extensions.

Check in packages and patches to Evaluation branch.

Set policies to use evaluation branch.

Create and assign tags for assigning polcies and distribution.

Deploy updates.

Reset policies on deployed systems.

Clear tags on deployed systems.

This is a rough outline.

same BUT, im adding Querty's to ADD and REMOVE TAG`S via Server Task.
So the updates is completly automatic and until now no problems.

Steps:
1.- Create  "TAG "+ "Client Task" that install ens 10.5.4 (Im not using patches since the patch+package problems in previous versions, and its 100% working for our clients). NOTE: client task must require TAG mentionet to work.
 a- TAG = just any name tag.
 b- Client task = this task must install ENS 10.5.4 if TAG (mentioned previously) is detected. This Client Task is repetitive, so it will install ENS every 2 hrs (example), until tag si removed.
2.- Create "Querys" that Apply Tags and Remove Tagas (2 querys) with verry specific filters:
  a- Query to apply TAG => some filters: limited endpoint numbers to prevent massive install disaster, do not apply tag to already tagget systems, last communication xx, specify SO, less than 10.5.4 and greater than 1 (to only target systems with ENS) and all filter that you consider needed.
  b- Query to remove TAG => Has ens 10.5.4 or greater and has TAG (step 1)
3.- Create "Server Task" that run "Querys" to add and remove tags (1 server task that execute 2 querys)
 a- Run query = Apply TAG -> sub acction "Apply tag"
 b- Run query = Remove TAG -> sub acction "remove tag"
Server task is repetitive and it runs every 2 hrs.

This is my example, so use it and let me know. Sry for my English.

Hi everyone,

I am new to McAfee so my question is dummy:

I have an ePO server with few endpoints with 10.5.3.

From where I could download the 10.5.4 version to make an upgrade? Is it a manual process, that I should download it from the McAfee's website and upload it to the ePO server?

I could not find it in the Software Manager - there is only 10.5.0 ENS packs and one 10.5.4 Designer package.
