Uninstalling ENS Threat Prevention only without other McAfee Products

Hello Everyone,

We notice that it is very difficult to uninstall ENS Threat Prevention only for our need on systems, how often it is not terminated with success, it is failed. We do not know if someone has already experienced that, is there a best way to uninstall just the endpoint security threat prevention only without other McAfee ENS product like "ENS Firewall" by example? EPR tool remove all the ENS package

Good day to you!

You should be able to remove the threat prevention alone if there is no ATP installed but either Firewall or Webcontrol should be installed.

You can uninstall threat prevention from the Add/remove programs. Or by pushing a uninstall task for TP from the ePo.

Also, try running the below command and let us know if it helps.

"C:\Program Files\McAfee\endpoint Security\Threat Prevention\repairCache\SetupTP.exe" /x /removeespsynchronously /managed

NOTE: ATP depends on TP hence the uninstall of TP will fail

I thank you for your prompt reply, it is really helpful. The important part is that ATP depends of TP , if we want to uninstall TP , we have to remove ATP before.
