I get this error message when I view the status:
Issue: AMSI is not responding. Issue: Exploit Prevention is not responding. Issue: On-Access Scan is not responding. Issue: ScriptScan is not responding.
When I try scanning files, I get:
"Cannot communicate with the scan service."
When I try modifying settings for Threat Prevention, I keep getting the following:
"Error loading settings."
Haven't been able to find a solution. Most old posts with similar issues say to update. But I believe I'm running the latest version. ePO says my machine has 10.6.1 of all endpoint security products installed. 5.6.3.157 for Agent, 6.0.0.197 for McAfee DXL Client.
Looking at my McAfee Security History, it looks like this has been happening since the 8th of October this year.

There could be many reasons for this error - far too many options to attempt resolving this via this channel. I would strongly recommend enabling debug logging for ENS, waiting for the issue to occur then collect an MER and submit it to Technical Support for review via a Service Request
