I get this error message. When I run the setup.
Installation failed. The installer wizard was interrupted before McAfee Endpoint security could be installed. Your systems has not been changed. to install the program laters, run the installation again

I actually don't see that error message in the trouble-shooting guide you posted.
Any thoughts what this is?
Try checking the %temp% -McAfee Logs folder and try to see the logs.

There can be the possibility of this error, if you have not rebooted your system before attempting to install, secondly, there may be 3rd party injectors that might be not certified and causing the ENS installation failure, another point do you have any other 3rd party installed, if yes, could you please remove that and then try installing ENS and check the status?
