Some quick questions about ENS for Servers

Jump to solution

Hi There,

I'm going to build a lab for ENS Servers, but i have some questions regarding to the system requirements:

My current Env:

ESXi 6.5 + AD + ePO 5.9.1

1, Is vCenter needed mandatorily? I saw the installation guide states ESXi is also supported, and yes i noticed we have to use the vCenter account to register the cloud account..

2, Maybe dumb but is the virtual machines still need to install ENSTP first?

Yes. It is mandatory. Without Vcenter it wont work

2, Maybe dumb but is the virtual machines still need to install ENSTP first?

Yes. Machines will have ENSTP.

ENS for server is just an extension to schedule the ODS and DAT update and control the DAT/ODS Storm. It monitors the entire ESX load and trigger task.
