Signature Updates on ePO Managed Systems

If I have ePO server for ENS, is it possible to update the antivirus signatures locally on client in standalone mode when ePO server is not available? This is a temporary requirement when ePO is not available.

Thanks for reaching out to Community. 

This configuration is possible. 

In case, if ePO server is not reachable, then updates can happen through HTTP on the internet. 

You need to configure Fall back as mentioned in KB below.

can I download the V3 DAT file and install it locally on client system?
