Searching evidence content

We currently have endpoint security 10 and 9.3 deployed and have setup rules to collect a log of all prints happening across the network as well as collecting the printed files as evidence.

We however require at times to determine who has printed a document by just looking at the printed document itself without any knowledge of the file name or other information. However the files stored in the evidence folder are not identical to the files captured as evidences (they are encoded/encrypted).

Is it possible to search evidence files (specifically .doc, .docx, and .pdf files) based on certain keywords that might appear in their contents?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Searching evidence content

I think you have the wrong product forums.  I think you're referring to the McAfee Data Loss Prevention Endpoint.

This forum is for the McAfee Endpoint Security 10.x product (Threat Prevention, Firewall, Web Control, Adaptive Threat Protection).
