Removing ENS and ePO agent with VBscript or any other tool.

Hello ,

I am in the situation where I need to remove ENS and the agent using a VBscript.  I will be using 3rd party tool to deploy the package. The servers are currently not reporting to ePO so I can't use that.

MFRemoval tool not sure if it can be deployed with SCCM or other tool. I used it to remove Mcafee from  few servers, but these servers are a little high and trying to automate the process.

Re: Removing ENS and ePO agent with VBscript or any other tool.

Well MFERemoval tool can be deployed without any problem.

But you can also just check the MSI-package details for all the programs you need to uninstall and simply run a msiexec.exe from within you VBScript or batch or what ever you like best.

Hope you don´t have access-protection running because this might block your install attempts.

The agent itself can also be uninstalled with frminst.exe /forceuninstall from within the agent-folder itself.

Best regards

Thank you Daniel!  MFRemoval tool probably the idle method for this task as long as it doesn't reboot the systems. I am assuming we can add norboot swithch in the command.

If I remember things right it doesn´t ask for reboot at all.

Bare in mind that the Tool is only valid for the current quartal of the year. After three month you will have to get the newest version and create a new package.

Best regards
