Registry key for Tasks

Hello.

I installed ENS 10.6.1 and I created a new user-defined Task.

I want to run it from command line like I did before when used VSE.

For VSE I used HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\McAfee\DesktopProtection\Tasks. Using Task name I could identify it and use as parameter.

Now I created the Task but I can't find it in the registry.

I searched HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\McAfee\Endpoint but couldn't find a Task name that I just created.

Could you please help me to locate it?

Thanks in advance

Re: Registry key for Tasks

Hi @susja

Thank you for your post! I can't believe this one is not yet responded. Can you check under the following location and let me know if this helps?

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\McAfee\Endpoint\AV\ODS

I sincerely hope this helps!

Re: Registry key for Tasks

Hi @susja,

A quick addition though, This task information is not easily understandable and the task when created locally is usually identified by a unique ID and not by its name!

Hope this helps as well!
