Question about Reboot pending status feature with ENS 10.7 Sept 2021 Update

In the release notes for Endpoint Security 10.7 Sept 2021 update it mentions a new "Reboot Pending status field". It mentions that you need ePO agent 5.7.4 or higher. 

My question is can you deploy the ENS 10.7 Sept 2021 update with agent 5.7.3. i assume that you can then deploy Agent 5.74, when available, and get this new feature. Or do I have to wait for agent 5.7.4 before installing the ENS 10.7 Sept 2021 update?

I currently don't see Agent 5.7.4, when will it be released?

Feature Enhancements

The following enhancements are now available:
• New Reboot Pending status field and event. Requires minimum version of MA 5.7.4

Endpoints now proactively send the report on Reboot Pending status to McAfee ePO, if the Endpoint Security Installer finds that operating system has pending reboot due to OS updates, previous installation, or third-party application changes. An unresolved pending reboot flag cancels the Endpoint Security installation until the OS request for reboot is resolved via system reboot. You can query the pending reboot status across multiple systems and it can be used in the dashboards and reports.

Thank you for posting on community forum. To answer your question, yes, you can deploy ENS 10.7 Sept 2021 update with agent version 5.7.3. And as you mentioned you can later on upgrade Agent to 5.7.4 once the GA version is available.

Unfortunately, we do not have a exact release date of McAfee Agent 5.7.4 and I would recommend that you subscribe to the below KB so that you can get notified when new updates are released.

We have the same question and IT causes a lot of confusion currently. Could you please asap change/adapt the Release notes so it does reflect your posting that the 5.7.4 is not GA/RTM.

It looks like they just released the Agent 5.7.4.418. It just showed up under our grant number.
