Profiler shows System as highest "process" (89%)

Any ideas on why Profiler would show System as the highest process? User is using Robocopy on the Destination server to copy files from the Source server. Any suggestions on how to reduce Scanner CPU usage (90%)?Capture.PNG

Check your disk IO..  What files does profiler show for files being most accessed?  Or open resource monitor, look at disk usage and see where mcshield is reading from.  That will give more insight.

Hi @Ken_hp ,

Thank you for reaching us on community.

The usual cause of high CPU:

1. You are possibly missing exclusions that are required.
2. Disabled debug logging if enabled. (Debug logging is only required when troubleshooting).
3. OnDemandScan running on the machine .

If OnDemand scan is running you can use 'limit maximum CPU usage' functionality to reduce CPU usage while scanning.

As per McAfee profiler, i see that all the files that are listed are using default process settings. you can add trusted applications excusable to low risk in ENS OAS policy after enabling "configure different settings for high risk and low risk processes ".

For more information on this you can refer the below article :

I hope this helps.
