On-Demand Scan Auto-Paused

Hello, could you please explain to me why this is happening? I am working as a Tech support and I don't have full admins rights to change settings. I just want to run the scan ( apply tag) and I noticed that? any ideas?  (This is end user laptop)

Scan will get resumed and auto paused when you have below settings enabled in your ODS policy.

• Scan only when the system is idle.

• Do not scan when the system is on battery power.
• Do not scan when the system is in presentation mode.

Changing the option scan only when the system is idle option to Scan anytime will resolve the issue. After making the required changes, if you observe high CPU issue make use of below settings.

Set the system utilization to below normal which can reduce the CPU usage. If Exclusions are not added within ODS policy/task make use of Limit Maximum CPU usage option.
