NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM exclusion

Jump to solution

Hello,

We would like to exclude the NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM from our expert rules.

We know the SID : S-1-5-18 but is it a GROUP_SID or a USER_SID (or something else)?

Is this correct ?

Rule {
       Process {
              Include OBJECT_NAME {-v ** }
                  Exclude USER_SID { -v "S-1-5-18" }

or

                  Exclude GROUP_SID { -v "S-1-5-18" }

Thanks for your help!

Kind regards,

Pat

Why not just do

Exclude USER_NAME { -v "NT Authority\\SYSTEM" }
