Migration of servers from Symantec to McAfee

We ae migrating servers installed with Symantec to McAfee, if we installed ENS/VSE on those servers will it remove symantec product completely from registry level? Also what are the prerequisites for migrating from Symantec to McAfee.

McAfee ENS will not remove Symantec when installed, you have to remove Symantec before installing McAfee ENS.

Below are the prerequisites for ENS installation and the Supportability details as well.

Hello,

Afaik, Once the ENS will start getting installed it will remove the other AV present on the machine.

Third-party products that can be removed when Endpoint Security is installed 

So ideall ENS will remove the Symantec from the machine and ENS will get installed.
