McAfee and whitelisting can coexist?

I am new to whitelisting. As I understanding that AV and AWL is working differently, so my question is that on the existing machine that had installed McAfee endpoint protection, can we also install our application software named ABB 800xA cyber security Whitelisting on the same machine?

Yes they can. In fact McAfee HAS a whitlisting product. it's called SolidCore.

You can install any white listing application as long as it is not hooking or interfeing into the the McAfee AV (ENS/ViruScan enigne) algorithimic processes nad tasks.

Best thing is to exclude their executables and important DLLs from being roguely marked <false positive>.

I've tested Application Control product (MAC for short - solidcore software) and it is fine.
I 've also tested McAfee ENS and TIE w/t Appsense Application Manager and so far had good experience with both doing their own jobs.

hope this helps.
