McAfee and Windows Defender

Dear community,

Could someone please tell me if the Windows Defender is getting activated when the McAfee ENS is disabled on a client?

As a rule the Defender is not active when  when McAfee ENS is active, is this correct?

Thank you for reaching out to the support community.

Correct, windows defender is not active when ENS is active on the computer. This is controlled by microsoft WAC.

So this means that Windows Defender is active and protects the the computer if ENS is diabled by a policy, is that correct?

Correct, assuming that WAC is working properly.
