McAfee MOVE - Firewall?

Jump to solution

Hello all. We are working on switching from Symantec to McAfee MOVE for our servers. From my understanding, MOVE is only an AV product and does not include the firewall. We tried to use the ENS 10.6 firewall with the deployment but MOVE will not install if any of the ENS products are installed. What is everyone else using for firewall with the MOVE client? Should it be the ENS? HIPS? or something else?

You can use HIPS with MOVE - but not ENSFW as you have already found out.

You may want to have a discussion with your sales representative as there may be better solutions for you depending on your environment and requirements - for example - ENS for Servers.

You really need to ask Corporate support or post in the corporate area as you are posting in the consumer area. I found this though seems not to be much joy.

Maybe they fixed something in the past 4 mths.
