McAfee Endpoint Threat Protection vs MVISION Protect Standard

Currently, I am trying to renewal my licenses for the product MFE EP Threat Protection. The vendor has informed me that this has reach EOSL. The vendor has recommend MVISION Protect Standard-upgrade, MV1U. I am only using these 2 items in MFE EP Threat Protection: 1. McAfee VirusScan Command Line Scanner 6.1 2. McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.8 Are the above 2 products found in MVISION Protect Standard-upgrade, MV1U? By changing my licenses to MV1U, will I still be able to download the latest signature files/product update to 1. McAfee VirusScan Command Line Scanner 6.1 2. McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.8 Regards Derrick

Thank you for posting on the community.

You can get latest signature for VSE (V2 DAT) if you have only "MVISION Protect Standard".

But "MVISION Protect Standard" does not include VirusScan Enterprise 8.8.

So we recommend you get latest Patch 16 before McAfee Endpoint Threat Protection has been expired.

After expiration, if Hotfix or patch released, you may have to contact technical support.

So are you saying that VirusScan Enterprise will be going EOL soon? If not, which product will contain VirusScan Enterprise if I need to migrate my current set of licenses to include both VirusScan Enterprise and CommandLine Scanner?

As this is what I am currently using based on my licenses on McAfee Endpoint Threat Protection.

VSE will be EOL at 12/31/2021 as follows.

We apologize for the inconvenience but it's difficult to resolve your problem in the community discussion.

So I suppose it would be better to ask technical support or sales for the contract about continuing to use VSE.
