Hi @packert

We have identified an issue with the integration into the WSC following a change by Microsoft. We are working to fix this in the next release which is targeted for October.

Hi all

We are seeing some new reports of this issue reoccurring with the latest Windows version and latest ENS patch. I assume MS has changed their integration again so it's something we need to work on with them. To help us with our side of the investigation, it would be great if you could raise an SR and provide the following:

Set debug logging for all ENS modules.

Set amtrace and procmon to log at boot. See KB86691 for parameters.

Restart system.

Open WSC and check status. Stop amtrace and procmon.

Collect MER, amtrace, and procmon log.

Get the output of the command below; run with Admin CMD prompt:

powershell Get-WmiObject -Namespace "root\SecurityCenter2" -Class "AntiVirusProduct"

No that work´s fine.

I think there ist a major conflict between EPS and Windows Defender / Security Center...

After deactivate the Defender everything works fine. By the way, I use the EPS July Repost Bundle...

Re: McAfee Endpoint Security is not up to date

Ah, interesting.

Windows Defender should not be running when ENS is installed. This will cause amongst other problems performance issues. It is not recommended to have two AntiVirus Software running. What it sounds like is that the Windows Interface is taking precedence over our integration and therefore displaying incorrect information.

Re: McAfee Endpoint Security is not up to date

When you installs ENS Defender is normal always running as only defence. As you can see in code: 393472 (060100) = disabled and up to date

Defender is disabled ! It's ENS / Windows reporting NOT updated - On access ON.

Is it a wrong code reported ?
