McAfee EndPoint Security Security Status Issue

Hello There,

We have disabled the McAfee ENS Exploit prevention, Access Protection and AMSI by default on the system.

In McAfee tray menu under security status below warning is displaying:

Issue: AMSI is disabled. Issue: Access Protection is disabled. Issue: Exploit Prevention is disabled.

It it possible to disable these warning on McAfee ENS

We are using version ENS 10.5.5 and 10.6.1

McAfee ENS  installed is a standalone installation.

Re: McAfee EndPoint Security Security Status Issue

Hi @saurabh_tiwari

Thank you for your post. I am afraid this is not feasible from Endpoint Security, not that I am aware of!

There must be unsupported ways to disable the communication between the tray icon and the endpoint client UI completely through registry, however we would recommend against it. I am afraid this is default product behavior.

I sincerely hope this information is helpful!

Was my reply helpful?
