McAfee Core Networking Firewall Group

Jump to solution

One of the core networking firewall rules (Allow inbound traffic from special IP addresses) is allowing IPv6.  My organization mandates no IPv6.  Is it OK to disable this particular rule?

Please see the KB below.  It's not recommended to disable the Core Networking group, but still possible if you wish.

I'll probably just leave it but I was thinking more of just disabling the one rule.

Disabling that single Core Networking rule is currently not possible.
