Manual full scan

 Hi experts,

i have question, why is a full manual scan that is done directly from the ens console on the computer, there is no event report or the log in the epo? while other scheduled ODS scans via epo exist or appear in threat events in epo

User-defined on-demand scan doesn't update Date of Last Full Scan or Date of Last Quick Scan (mcafee...

The functionality is working as intended.

The Full Scan or Quick Scan default tasks are the intended mechanism to determine ODS compliance. The capability to return the last runtime was never intended for custom ODS tasks. So, the back-end infrastructure of the product does not support it either, which means the functionality can't be added without a rewrite of core product components.

If you need this capability, go to the Ideas forum and explain the use cases where the default tasks are inadequate solutions.

To submit a new product idea, go to the Enterprise Customer Product Ideas page.

Click Sign In and enter your ServicePortal User ID and password. If you do not yet have a ServicePortal or Community account, click Register to register for a new account on either website.
