Network adaptors are not scanned by ENSTP for malware. Again, I think this needs more clarification on what your customer actually wants to achieve though.

From what scanning should network adapter be excluded. Do you mean to exclude from ENS Firewall ?

- mmuthuga,

Customer requested to “exclude” from ENS scanning certain directories, ports and network adapter.

I figured out how to exclude directories and ports but have no clue how to exclude network adapter.

Hence I assume that customer wants adapter being excluded from ENS scan.

Thanks

I think you may need to clarify what exactly your customer means. You can't exclude a network adaptor or port from ENS scanning.

My customer gave me a list of directories , ports, hostname IP address that he wanted to be excluded from daily scan.

I was able to exclude those directories by adding it to “exclude “ section of scan options and by using Firewall section of ENS I excluded ports.

The last his request was to exclude Network adapter from scanning. I assumed it could be done using ENS Firewall section but did not find that type....

That is why I want to know if ENS is capable from excluding adapter and how to implement it.

Thanks for trying to help me and my customer
