Re: How i can update McAfee remotely???

This is not possible with Consumer software.

With Enterprise that may be possible but we'd have to move this to the right area for attention.

What McAfee product are you talking about?

Re: How i can update McAfee remotely???

This is McAfee Endpoint Security for version number 10.5.

Can I invoke an update from the command line?

Not at this time. This request is being reviewed for a future release of Endpoint Security.

Re: How i can update McAfee remotely???

You could try to setup something like this:

1. Download the V3_****dat.exe (where **** is the AMCORE version) from the McAfee website (https://www.mcafee.com/enterprise/en-gb/downloads/security-updates.html) and place it on a shared repository location

2. Rename it to (e.g.) todaysDAT.exe

3. Setup a scheduled task on each system to run todaysDAT.exe from the shared location

Or use ePO 🙂
