Getting lots of Access Protection rule violations detected

Hi

I am relieving quite a few  Access Protection rule violations detected on a Endpoint Security Threat Protection policy I have created.

The policy is a test to stop mspaint running. but from the attached below

Going into one of the log files it gives a description as below

Is this normal action, does it have any derogatory function on the system itself?

allow me to move this to the ENS group so that it has proper visibility

Re: Getting lots of Access Protection rule violations detected

Apologies I sent the incorrect screenshot

Even though I have set up a rule only to stop MSPaint running it stops access to all files

Below are a couple of examples
