Failed to start McAfee Endpoint Security Platform for Linux

Greetings,

I'm running a POC to Endpoint for Linux. My OS is Operating System: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.0 (Ootpa)
CPE OS Name: cpe:/o:redhat:enterprise_linux:8.0:GA
Kernel: Linux 4.18.0-80.el8.x86_64
Architecture: x86-64

I'm facing several issues to start the service.

I've install the ENS for linux and the service never start.

Can't found logs at /opt/isec/ens/threatprevention/var/isecoasmgr.log

I'm working with ePO 5.10 and

McAfee Endpoint Security for Linux Threat Prevention 10.6.3 build 125;

McAfee Endpoint Security Kernel Modules for Linux 10.6.3 build 129;

McAfee Agent for LINUX 5.6.1 build 157 ;

McAfee Agent key updater 5.6.1 build 157.

When I've try to start the service show up the following message:

[root@redhat var]# systemctl start isecespd.service
Job for isecespd.service failed because the control process exited with error code.
See "systemctl status isecespd.service" and "journalctl -xe" for details.

Re: Failed to start McAfee Endpoint Security Platform for Linux

@HS RHEL 8.0 with that specific kernel supported from 10.6.6 version only. Please check https://docs.mcafee.com/bundle/endpoint-security-10.6.6-threat-prevention-release-notes-linux/page/G...

You can download and install the 10.6.6 and that should resolve the problem.
