Exploit prevention exclusion rules

Jump to solution
We recently had a employee have some business software that needed installed however mcafee was blocking it since it looked like a illegal api call so I was trying to add an exclusion in the exploit prevention category under policies > endpoint security threat prevention. What is the proper formatting or information required to have the rule function properly? I seemed to be running into some issues where it was still being blocked and I think I might be missing something in how the rule was set up. I used the target parent process name and location, and added its hash to the md5 hash, the caller module (no hash and location but just the file name), and the API name. Thank you!

@User36189986 I'm afraid with ENS you can't exclude based on Target, only on Source. This is probably why your configuration isn't working.
