Exploit Prevention Rule ID 6146 in Content version 9845

Jump to solution

After updating with the new signatures I scan see Rule ID on the endpoints, but not in the Exploit prevention policy. 6148 was also part of the new content and I see that both in the policy and the endpoint. Anyone else having this issue or know why that would happen?

Hi @Jmac24  Please make sure the Network IPS feature is enabled in your Exploit Prevention policy, and that the "NIPS" filter option is enabled.

Network IPS is greyed out for me.  What do I do now?

Hi @mlajoie

You first have to tick the box "Enable Network IPS" before you can tick the box to show Network IPS signatures.

Thank you,
