Endpoint Security cannot be installed on Windows 10 ver.1903.

What should I do to install Endpoint Security on Windows 10 ver.1903 environment? Only [ENS 10.6.1 May Update-10.6.1 July Update] works on Windows 10 Ver.1903. [ENS 10.6.1] and [ENS 10.6.0] do not work A description was found on the website. However, [ENS 10.6.1 May Update-10.6.1 July Update] Installation is not possible unless [ENS 10.6.1] or [ENS 10.6.0] is installed. Therefore, it seems that Endpoint Security cannot be installed on Windows 10 Version 1903. the new release Date for the ENS 10.6.1 is targetet to 13.08.

EDIT: " An updated RTS, including a fix for the above issue, is available as of July 31, 2019. Currently targeted for GA on August 13, 2019. "

we'll I just downloaded the eval version and couldn't install the stand-alone on 1903 as well. how can we evaluate the software if we can't even install them on our environment?

Make sure you have the correct version of the product. Can you confirm which version you downloaded?

hi! i got the McAfee_Endpoint_Security_10_6_357_13_stand_alone_client_install_evaluation.zip from the mcafee site. looks like this is the same issue with many.

May I know if you have downloaded the Trial version available from here?

If yes, I request you to kindly discard the same as this will not be suitable for Windows 10 1903. I would recommend you to contact our Sales team and obtain a newer version of the package to test it out and please let us know how your experience has been with the same.

Meanwhile, I shall work on getting a newer version available for our Future Customers to enjoy them on trial. I shall keep the thread updated once we have a newer version available there. I sincerely hope this helps.

Ah yes, I'm afraid this eval version isn't compatible with Windows 10 1903. The product managers in charge of what gets updated on this site have already been contacted and they are looking at what they want to replace it with. I'm not sure when it will be updated though I'm afraid. For now, look at KB82761 to see which platforms you can use that version on.
