Enabling Web Control on Chromium Edge

We're about to roll out Windows 1909 and so far the only thing that's having me stuck is enabling Web Control on the new Chromium Edge.

When I run the .appx with Edge open or if edge is closed, I get that the extension is already installed. Untitled.png

Web Control is enabled on our other Browers, but just not Chromium Edge. Is there something I'm missing? Besides trying to run the appx to trigger a prompt to enable in C. Edge I've also:

* Uninstalled / Installed ENS suite as a whole.

* Attempted to try a stand alone installer for just web control.

* Ensured the November patch was applied to the system.

So far nothing. I've had one technician say that it wasn't supported, this wasn't the case after the November patch. I had another SR request say that we should just enable web advisor and that was the same thing as web control. That didn't seem to be the case either.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Re: Enabling Web Control on Chromium Edge

Hi @ChristopherTB ,

We could try to enforce the policies through GPO. It should enforce the addins and prevent users from disabling it.

Please refer to the suggestions in KB below.
