Enable named pipes

Hi,

Using McAfee Endpoint Security 10.7 in stand-alone mode not managed by ePo.  Have an application called CVTWin which we use to connect 2 computers using named pipes.  The only modules we have installed in McAfee ENS are the Security Platform and Threat Prevention.  We are not using the Firewall or Web Control plugins.  In the user's local profile, in the McAfee folder, there is a log file "UpdateUI_System.log" and this file contains an entry:

“Set the destination PID to zero to stop sending this message to the named pipe connection”

Would appreciate any help on this issue.  Thank you in advance.

Hello @robby24  ,

We usually encounter this error message when there is an instance of update failure from ePO . As this system is not managed by ePO . We can ignore this message if you are not experiencing any issue with ENS .
