The majority of our MacOS systems were no longer being updated by our existing DAT update job in ePO - they were stuck at DAT version 9766. The logs from one of the affected systems show errors from the ePO job attempts. Looking at the Diagnostic Reports, Mcafee was crashing on the DAT Engine. We then tried to run a DAT update locally from this machine twice, and the job returned success both times. However, the DAT file version on the machine still remained at 9766.
Then I created a new DAT update job in ePO, and applied it to the affected systems - they were successfully updated to DAT file version 9781. Subsequent runs of this new job, however, did not update any of the affected systems beyond DAT file version 9781. I created a 2nd new job, and ran it against the affected systems - same result, the DAT file version will not update beyond 9781. Again, we see errors in the log for when the ePO update jobs ran, while running the DAT update locally from one of the affected systems returns success but the DAT file version remains at 9781. What could be causing this? I'll attach screenshots and logs.

Hello cpborders,
Thank you for writing in, The issue with the VSDatEngieValidate crash, seems to be observed in ENS 10.6.9 and the same to be fixed in ENS 10.6.10 and ENS 10.7.1. Could you please help us to know the ENSM version used here and also on any machine if we try upgrading to ENS 10.6.10 or 10.7.1, what would be the status.
If at all if are looking at the same issue even after the upgrade, would suggest logging a Service Request with the logs and DiagnosticReports to assist further
