ENSLTP 10.7.6.43

Hi Expert,

we have

OS:

Linux Ubuntu 18.04

ENSLTP: 10.7.6.43

Information:
1. The server runs Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) Agent, its function is to facilitate in-house Company application deployment
2. Often fails to download packages when ENS is enabled, but when disabled ENS download packages run normally
3. Checked the threat event log on ePO but no blocking process log was found on the server

at the moment we uninstalled the ENSLTP,(yes we know the risk, but there's no other option at that time)

question : is theres something wring in our config ? this case also sometimes occurred on windows OS, but when we reinstall the ENS on the windows system, the download works, but not with the ENSLTP

Re: ENSLTP 10.7.6.43

Hello Dwee,

Thank you for contacting us through community channel.

Kindly re-install the ENSL back on the machine. We need to re-produce the issue to find the cause.

Please submit a Service Request to ENS-Linux support with following data. We will analyze the same and revert with next action plan.

1. Install ENSL back in machine
2. /opt/McAfee/ens/tp/bin/mfetpcli --oasactivitylog enable
3. cat /var/McAfee/ens/log/tp/mfetpdactivity.log | tee ENSLScanningFiles.txt

Note: Above command creates a file ENSLScanningFiles.txt  in your present working directory

4. Preproduce the issue and collect the time stamp
5. /opt/McAfee/ens/tp/bin/mfetpcli --oasactivitylog disable
6. /opt/McAfee/ens/tp/scripts/mfetp-mer.sh

Note: Above command creates a file mfetp-mer_<date>.tar.gz  in your present working director

7. Upload it to SR -> mfetp-mer, ENSLScanningFiles.txt & the time stamp when the issue is reproduced.
8. Possible please provide the list of process & paths belongs to Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) Agent

Thank you,
Aravind K
