ENS not connected to internet

Hi Team,

Need advice on the below requirement

* How do we manage ENS not connected to internet? (How do we update the virus definition?)

* How do we collect logs on the ENS not connected to the internet

This is a requirement by the enduser.

 

Can advice please.

Hi @Asogan,

Thank you for your post. Additional information. Log files for ENS can always be connected by having direct access to the machine or via RDP from the locations mentioned in the below document as need:

If log collection is requested from McAfee support, you can always use the MER tool using a scheduled task from the ePO and the details are provided in the below KBA:

For updates, along with the offline method suggested above, you can also implement distributed repositories or mirror repositories as mentioned here:

https://docs.mcafee.com/bundle/endpoint-security-10.5.0-common-product-guide-epolicy-orchestrator-wi...

Hello,

Thank you for your post. Since the ENS installed machine isn't having an internet connection.

You can visit the below link and download the .exe file under "Download V3 Virus Definition Updates (DATs)" which is for ENS product and update it on the system daily.
