ENS Threat Prevention DAT ver report

Jump to solution

I have a request to create a ENS threat prevention report that should show deployed Dat version >= -2. or <=7 days since the deployed date. I don't know if we can possible create this report because we only have windows servers and my understanding is only Linux or Mac are using ENS threat prevention with Dat files. Wondering if we can still can generate this type report for windows servers? If so how can we do that?

Hello @Mask118 ,

Thank you for writing.

We do have a compliance report which could be used for AMCore content which is used by Endpoint Security for Windows.

Query name: "Endpoint Security Threat Prevention: AMCore Content Compliance Status"
However, this calculates the compliance based on the release date of the AMCore content. If the AMCore content is less than seven days old, it is considered compliant. However, the value of 7 days is hard-coded.  It is not possible to change the criteria for compliance based on numeric comparisons such as "Is within X versions of repository" or "Is not within X versions of repository".

We could also use another Query: "Endpoint Security Threat Prevention: Content Status"
This would show the Version of the AMCore Content and the number of systems with that version installed.

I ran the Endpoint Security Threat Prevention: AMCore Content Compliance Status quarry, and under compliant, I see a handful of endpoints that have a recent last communication date (3/1/21) but the AMCore content date is greater than 7 days as in 6/28/20 and 7/25/20.

What might explain the appearance of a false compliance status?

Thank you,

Ron
