ENS 10.7.5 major issues on Mac

Hi hope someone has come across this before;

I've installed Standalone ENS 10.7.5 on a Big Sur (11.2.1) Mac on M1 silicon.

I've only installed ENS and Web control no FW

Install goes ok no errors, up to date, Console claims ENS is running and Web control too.

When I download and open the test files from Eicar.com nothing is detected 😞

Tried moving the files(s) but still not detected, tried scanning the folder where the test files reside, no detection 😞

Anyone come across this before?

Could you please try installing the Endpoint Security Threat Prevention and try doing the EICAR test.

Yes I though I did, I installed ENS which seems to include TP?

Anyway forgot to mention this MAC is MDM enabled, so pushed out the latest PPPC to it and it seems to have fixed it.

Would be nice if the install instructions were kept up to date, like this part,

sudo /usr/local/McAfee/AntiMalware/VSControl switch-mode KextLess

the KextLess option is not recognised by this version of VSControl

Sync/Async is the new model

But anyhow, looks like we've fixed it with pushing the latest PPPC_McAfee_v2.5.2.mobileconfig

so looks like that's what I was missing.

Strange I would have thought that the installer would have reminded me I needed this?
