Maybe you can make the appropriate people in Mcafee aware that they need to update their links to trial versions which work with up-to-date versions of Windows.
Or at least - enable a mecanism within the trial so that updates can be obtained.
I have already been in contact with my McAfee account manager - and he says he has no avenue to pre-sales technical support and so I have been pushed through to a re-seller.
This has so far been a tooth-pulling exercise - and while I appreciate your help and direction, I hope you can perhaps feed this back to somehome to make the excercie of a Trial less painful for someone else.

I've discussed this topic with our Product Management Team who are partially involved in deciding what gets posted to the trials site. They absolutely agree that it should be kept more up to date than what it is now and will work towards that. As 10.7 is on the cusp of release we won't be updating the site until this has been released. So I'm afraid for now, your trial will have to be on systems that are compatible with 10.6.0.
