ENS 10.6.1 Web Control and ePO Queries

Jump to solution

Hello,

I have used some web control content actions policy to block web category and also set web control options to "log web categories for green rated sites" - website is blocked, 2h has passed but can't find that info in ePO dashboards or queries. How long does it take for client to report it?

Couldn't found that blocked site in GUI ENS client 😞

Than I realized that ePO does not show websites that ware allowed... can I log all websites?

Regards

Paweł

PS: all I have is ENS web control with ePO, no web gateway, no reporter or such.

Thank you for posting your query here

In Policy Catalog go to Endpoint Security Common : Policy Category > Options > My Default (or the policy applied on the client machine)

Go to the Client Logging Section
In the Event Logging section

Select the both the below mentioned checkboxes
Send events to McAfee ePO
Log events to Windows Event Log or syslog

under Web Control events to log: from the drop down select the ALL option

Save the settings

Please let me know if this works for you

For your other question How long does it take for client to report it?

By default, Agent-to-server communication interval is set to 60 Minutes
