Detecting Product Hostname not in ePO (MVISION)

Why would a threat event report a detecting product hostname (WIN-2AHNND58) that is not found in ePO but when I click on "Related Systems" I get an endpoint in the System Tree with a different name (UserSystem1)?  (Note: They usually match, but not always. If I put the two fields in a query, the same non-matching data is shown.)  The EventID is 34855 (ODS Scan stopped or cancelled)

Re: Detecting Product Hostname not in ePO (MVISION)

Hi @Ken_hp,

Thank you for your post. This is a weird issue and would require investigation from support via a service request.

I can think of a few reasons as to why the user name would differ, however system name changing is a whole different story and we would need to investigate this further.
